Danielle + Brian {Meritage Resort Napa Valley}

What you're going to notice most of all in this blog entry of Danielle and Brian's wedding is the shear happiness glowing from their smiles and faces. There is so much love between this inseparable couple and it shows. Originally meeting in high school as friends but never admitting their love for each other, Danielle and Brian reconnected years later after college, careers and life decisions had filled the time in between. But it didn't take long for them to remember why they loved each other so much and they are once again, inseparable.

The Italian phrase, 'Vivi Bene Ama Molto' translates as 'Live Well, Love Much.' This family motto served as the guiding inspiration for Marissa and Matthew's Tuscan-inspired wedding celebration.

Wedding Planner and Designer Joyce Scardina-Becker of Events of Distinction executed every little detail with the utmost perfection. Marissa & Matthew :: Vivi Bene Ama Molto :: Part I

The Italian phrase, 'Vivi Bene Ama Molto' translates as 'Live Well, Love Much.' This family motto served as the guiding inspiration for Marissa and Matthew's Tuscan-inspired wedding celebration. Let me pause right here to tell you that this wedding is so full of beautiful little details and Italian charm that it was challenging to choose which images to share in this blog entry! Thus, I decided to split the wedding into 2 blog entries so that I could include more images that I usually post. (And if you're reading this on your smartphone, the images should load quickly.) So, to Marissa and Matthew as you begin your journey together, may you live well and love much.

{Much LOVE to the following Wedding Pros who made every part of this wedding beautiful}

Mandy & Seth :: Wedding in the Vineyard

Hello Readers. Today's blog post features Mandy and Seth's wedding at Thomas Fogarty Winery. Nestled among the rolling hills of Woodside, California, this venue built of redwood and stone overlooks the vineyard and boasts lots of natural light throughout the building. It's beautiful during the day with blue skies and sunshine and at night when the moon settles over the hills. This wedding was designed and coordinated by San Francisco's MB Wedding Design & Events and the floral design was beautifully executed by Michael Daigian Design

Catey & Paul :: Landmark Wedding in Sonoma

Catey and Paul were married at Landmark Vineyards in the heart of Sonoma, California. Their wedding day combined their shared passions of food, wine and entertaining into one celebration. Catey graciously composed a narrative for us to share with you about the planning and inspiration for the wedding. It's a great added bonus because you can read about the details and see the results... all in the same blog post! Thanks, Catey!

From the Bride:

When Paul proposed a few days before Christmas with a ring featuring my Grandmother’s engagement diamond, I knew instantly when the wedding should be: August 24th – the same day my grandparents got married 73 years ago. Lucky for us, it fell on a Saturday. Since we had less than a year to plan, I got right to work on the details.

We decided early on that we wanted a small wedding surrounded by close friends and family. Next up – the location. With a small wedding, we discovered that you have a lot more options when it came to venues. A few years ago, Paul and I took our first vacation to Sonoma, CA and instantly fell in love with the area. Our life is spent in the kitchen: cooking, entertaining, and of course enjoying wine. Between the downtown square, vineyards and restaurants, it brought together some of our favorite things and made it the ultimate wedding destination. After scouting out a few locations, we decided to have the ceremony and reception at Landmark Vineyards, where we could have the entire evening spent outside under draped Italian lights surrounded by the picturesque mountain views.

The ceremony was short and sweet and took place on the lawn overlooking the vineyard. For the reception we envisioned a fabulous backyard dinner party, complete with delicious food, stunning wine and some jazzy, dinner party music to cap off the night. Of course it was going to be something a bit more elaborate than what we could pull off alone, so we found some local experts to help our dreams become a reality.

Claire, from Poppy Stone Designs, to execute my vision for the flowers for the tables, bouquets and boutonnieres. I knew I wanted local, fresh flowers in various containers, boxes, and vases featuring my colors for the wedding: pink, white & green. She even incorporated our love for food by adding sprigs of rosemary and a few apples to the arrangements. It was better than I could have ever imagined.

The food was catered by our favorite restaurant in Sonoma- The Girl & the Fig. They also did our welcome dinner, by closing The Fig Cafe to the public and welcoming all 40 guests for small bites, individual pizzas and of course, more wine. For the reception, each course was handpicked by us and paired with corresponding Landmark Wines.

All in all, the night was perfection. The evening was beautifully captured by our amazing photographer, Tara Arrowood. Every time I look through the pictures it takes me back to the best day of my life.
