Today's Bride Magazine :: Editorial - Gothic Rose

Late last year, I once again had the privilege of shooting an editorial spread for the San Francisco based magazine Today's Bride. The Gothic Rose feature can be seen in the magazine thoughout the winter, spring, summer and fall editions of 2013. The concept and styling was all about how to infuse a typically dark, gothic design into refined, sophisticated wedding and event decor. The results are in! South Asian Bride Magazine :: Editorial - Glitzy Glam

Two weeks ago I received an email from Madiha Khan of Exquisite Events telling me that one of our styled shoots was being featured in South Asian Bride Magazine. Very happy news! One of the greatest reasons I always share images from a shoot with the vendors who work very hard on styling and designing is so they can in turn submit images for publication which will inspire future brides. So thank you to all the vendors who made this shoot so glitzy and so glam that the editors of SAB decided to publish the images. This blog entry is dedicated to you!

Archana & Adrian :: A Fusion Wedding at San Francisco City Hall

Archana and Adrian's wedding was a melting pot of culture. Adrian's family is from Argentina and are Jewish and Archana's family is from India and are Hindu. The wedding celebration was a cleverly combined fusion ceremony- half Jewish and half Hindu. You'll see a mix of cultures and different elements from each, along with some non-traditional/modern elements in the images selected below. Mazel Tov!

Kelly & Matt :: Stand Up Paddle Boarding Engagement Shoot

This engagement shoot was super fun. Kelly and Matt are new to the world of stand up paddle boarding and thought it would be fun to have their engagement photos shot while they were on the water. Since paddle boarding is their new-found love and shared hobby, it makes perfect sense to me! Their only problem was worrying that they wouldn't find a photographer daring enough to take his or her camera out on a board. And that's where I enter the picture! Of course I'd do it! Along with Chicken, Travis and horses, paddle boarding is among my top favorite things to do! So, armed with my usual camera, lenses and the addition of a few GoPro items, we hit the boards.

The adventure took place at Pillar Point Marina near Half Moon Bay, California. Neither Kelly nor Matt had ever paddled without a wetsuit before. And here they were, dressed up for photos! At one point, while trying to kiss across the boards, Matt fell in. Now doesn't that just make the photos even more priceless?

Anjali & Suchit :: Classic Elegance at Dolce Hayes Mansion

It's not everyday a girl gets to shoot a wedding in a mansion! Feast your eyes on Anjali and Suchit's beautiful wedding at the Dolce Hayes Mansion. I always love working with Laura Little of Floramor...she did a fabulous job as always. And working with JoAnne Danna, Events Manager at the mansion, is seamless everytime.
